Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
The Province of Namur explicitly demanded a KNX system to manage their various special building techniques with one unique open overall system to make their Administrative Centre smart.
In this super-automated tertiary building, all the special building techniques are linked together with a KNX solution : CCTV, intercoms, access controls and the anti-intrusion management system. As for the huge amount of energy meters, they are supervised with an HVAC BMS linked with Synco KNX.
The goal was also to integrate the Administrative Centre's automation in a broader strategy, as the client is currently focusing on turning its multisite real estate into an innovative smart buildings grid. We thus chose to implement the habits of the final users that already interacted with connected devices into our technological choices in order to make their life easier. We also trained and prepared the technical staff so that they could take charge of todays’ system as well as tomorrow’s future setup.
