Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description

The Flame Towers is the tallest flame-shaped skyscraper in Baku, Azerbaijan facing the Caspian sea. There are 144 residental apartments in 33 floors. Led screens covered the building illustrate fire movement which can be seen from any point of the city. Astrum, Jung, Interra technologies used in every flat to give customers high level comfort and convenience. Each flat has the Touch panel which illustrates all lighting, air conditioning, music, doorbell, windows and leakage control. There is no need to turn off the light and AC separately in each room since KNX scenes can easily compute any function from one point. Jung KNX Area and Line couplers combine control of the whole building in one device, in case of need any device can be reached and reprogrammed .For example when the weather is windy all windows close automatically preventing damages and any other issues. . In this project over 8000 KNX devices were used representing extremely high level of quality and wonderful design.
