Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
Function Control were enaged to design a KNX control system for an exsiting client who had experience of KNX in his previous property. The project was a 4-storey Townhouse renovation including 3 self contained apartments. It was important to have the apartment seperate KNX systems, but retain the ability to connect them in the future.
The project features 7 seperate lighting and heating control panels, 4 on each floor of the townhouse and 1 in each apartment controlling lighting, zoned heating and boiler/plant control, alongside Gira KNX push button sensors, Gira G1 touchscreen and X1 visualisation and Zennio Z41 touchscreens in the apartments.
