Detailed Description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Innovation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Customers Description

HUB26 is Northern Greece’s first large-scale bioclimatic business park (31,000 sq.m.), engineered to achieve the prestigious LEED Platinum Certification. At its core lies a unified, high-density KNX automation ecosystem serving as the mandatory infrastructure for decarbonization. The system seamlessly unifies architectural lighting, VRF climate control, and VAM ventilation heat recovery into a single open protocol. To relentlessly eliminate energy waste, KNX implements Constant Light Control to maintain an optimal 500 lux on workspaces, reducing lighting consumption by up to 40%. Furthermore, multi-tier presence tracking shifts unoccupied office zones into HVAC eco-modes, while integrated CO2 sensors drive demand-controlled ventilation based on real-time air quality. Centrally managed via a master KNX Visualization Platform with automated night-sweeping chronoprograms, HUB26 stands as a premier regional benchmark for sustainable multi-tenant smart workspaces.
