Customers Description

IKEA Sylvia Park is New Zealand's first-ever IKEA store, a landmark 34,000m² retail development opened on 4 December 2025 in Auckland, achieving a 5-Star Green Star rating with 100% reprogrammable LED lighting as a core sustainability pillar. To deliver this, a comprehensive KNX backbone spans all three floors across 19 distribution boards, integrating automated DALI dimming, high-bay daylight harvesting, presence detection, outdoor lux sensing, and security system interfacing into a single unified distributed-logic network. The system covers all retail, warehouse, restaurant, amenities, car park, and external lighting zones. A custom Graphical User Interface provides real-time floor-plan visualization with live occupancy indicators and manual override control across all floors, giving store managers complete visibility and control of the entire lighting installation from a single touchpoint.
