Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Customers Description
600 Leuchten, 250 h Arbeit, mehr als 3000 m2 Korridore in bestem Licht erleuchtet. Der Einsatz des Projektteams vom Luzerner Kantonsspital hat sich in jeder Hinsicht gelohnt. Jährlich kommen in der Frauenklinik mehr als 2000 Neugeborene zur Welt. Für Mutter und Kind ist es wichtig, die ersten Stunden und Tage in einer angenehmen und sicheren Atmosphäre zu erleben. Dazu gehört eine gleichmässige, indirekte Ausleuchtung. Von Januar bis Juli 2019 wurde dieses Projekt in Eigenregie durch die Fachabteilung Elektro und Gebäudetechnik (EGT) des LUKS geplant und umgesetzt. Bei laufendem Spitalbetrieb erfolgte der Ersatz der gesamten Korridorbeleuchtung und der zugehörigen Beleuchtungs- und Storensteuerung. Seither erstrahlt die 2001 eröffnete Frauenklinik in neuem Licht. Auch die Gebäudesystemtechnik ist dank KNX-Technologie wieder auf dem neusten Stand. Dies zahlt sich aus: Der Stromverbrauch konnte um 2/3 gesenkt und die Unterhaltskosten massiv reduziert werden.
