Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
All devices are programmed in a single ETS6 project and respond to the same scenes. When the owner presses "Away" on the Inspinia panel: the lights go off (Astrum / eelectron), the curtains come down (Somfy), the HRV switches to economy mode (Zehnder), the underfloor heating drops by 2°C (Uponor), the intercom forwards calls to the phone (AKUVOX). One button, six systems — no separate apps, no cloud links.
The two AKUVOX door stations (R29C at the main entrance, E18 at the secondary access) feature on-device facial recognition — the owners open the door without touching anything. eelectron sensors monitor presence in every room and air quality (CO₂, VOC, humidity), automatically triggering the Zehnder HRV when needed. Flood sensors in the bathrooms automatically close the central shut-off valve and send a notification to the app.
