Customers Description
Sohar City Center is a large shopping centre in Oman, operated by Majid Al Futtaim Group. Entertainment facilities include an Event Vox Cinemas, children play area and shopping centres, KNX has been implemented for the entire common area, back of house areas and external facade with RGB control. The system controls the lighting, external facade lighting with RGB control, back of office areas, common area corridor and stairs are with presence detection for the optimum usage of energy. External facade lighting is controlled based on photocell and time based based for functional areas as per the requirement and standards. Stairs and offices are with manual override switches and touch screen for preset scenarios. The complete system is monitored and controlled by central visualization software located in the control room also interfaced to fire alarm system. The KNX system has made the shopping centre reliable, powerful and future proof and easily extended for future upgrades.
