Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
This smart Plus-Energy Home combines modern architecture in Bauhaus style with the highest possible energy efficiency and, at the same time, a comfort that hardly leaves any wishes unfulfilled.
The challenge of this project was to integrate diverse Smart Home components from a wide range of manufactures into a single communication network. Thanks to KNX the entire House and Media technology, as well as the heating control system is able to communicate with each other seamlessly. Solar panels on the roof produce up to 65,000 kWh of electricity a year and supply the house with renewable energy.
