Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description

Villa Neo, on the Caribbean island of St. Barthélemy, is a substantial six-bedroom private residence with breath taking sea views and bountiful living and entertainment spaces. It is famed on the island for its use of leading-edge smart technology as well as its extensive building footprint. The project presented the integrators at Beyond Habitat with a number of intriguing challenges that they were able to meet using KNX as the backbone for the property’s control systems. Villa Neo’s owners were keen to implement a sophisticated, scalable, tailored control system with advanced levels of building automation and remote monitoring capabilities. There was also a requirement to minimise the number of wall-mounted controls to complement the contemporary interiors; each controller needed to offer the user multiple functions. It all clearly added up to being a job for KNX.
