Originally planned for the consumer/enthusiast market, Button+ gained significant traction after tech platform Tweakers.net published an article on it in 2023. Shortly after, a few German YouTubers did very positive reviews. This resulted in sales of thousands of Button+ sets. In the meantime, the firmware gained many new features, and the inevitable production problems were tackled. Now we are ready to enter the KNX market. Since Button+ is modular, we are planning to develop a KNX-TP base module that will use the same bar/display modules as our existing WiFi base. To start off, a firmware-based KNX-IP version is currently under testing.
