This KNX IoT Router supports the latest KNX IoT standard. This new medium of the KNX enables fully encrypted transmission of data telegrams, thus ensuring secure data and access-proof communications between KNX devices within a single installation. The KNX-specific Engineering Tool Software (ETS) secures both the runtime communication over IP as well as commissioning. This device certificate key, imprinted as a QR code for fast identification, allows the ETS to authenticate the device and perform secure commissioning. The KNX IoT Router serves as a security proxy with a filter table configured via ETS, controlling message flow between KNX lines. Only KNX group addresses configured in the filter table can enter or exit the KNX IoT line.
