The KNX Awards is a long-standing competition that puts the smartest KNX home and building projects in the picture. You can apply in different categories that diversify between Smart Home and Smart Building projects as well as reward innovative implementation of the latest trends.Hand in your projects in one of the 7 categories selected by the Award Jury or become the people's champ by winning the People's Choice Award. KNX Members can enter their best new KNX device for the KNX Product Award. Each winner gets € 1000 prize money, an award trophy and the priceless exposure your business gets as a KNX Award winner. We accept all KNX projects and do not consider the size of the project as a main factor. We will judge your project on:
You can simply apply here and fill in all requested information. You can follow this step-by-step video to upload your project.
The KNX Product Award is for KNX Manufacturers only and is not carried out via the project submission form. KNX Manufacturers will be separately notified about the KNX Product Award, with a separate application link.
The People's Choice Award will be selected by the KNX Community only. You cannot specifically apply for this category. All projects that are nominated for the other KNX Awards categories will be eligible for the People's Choice Award as well. The KNX Community will be able to vote on their favorite nominated project in August.
Everyone, who at the time of the application had completed a working KNX installation and can show functional and fitting use of KNX certified products, can apply to the competition. The submitted projects had to be completed in 2024-2026. KNX Association staff and KNX National Groups can't participate in the competition. The full set of rules can be found here
