Customers Description
BIDFOOD is New Zealand company operating from distribution centres and processing facilities in 17 regional locations from Whangarei to Invercargill. The latest distribution centre is built in Taupo and had special requirements for operation, health & safety, energy efficiency, and control. The centre consists of office areas, and also of special areas and freezers where temperatures are as low as -25°. The lights in these areas were specially controlled for people safety and also energy efficiency utilising special High Bay sensors that are capable and reliable to operator on that temperature. At the same time, the visualisation on the touch panel depicts when any person enters or it is in the low temperature warehouses and alarms if the presence is recorded for longer time. Lights in other parts of the building are controlled by daylight harvesting or constantly controlled.
