Customers Description
At a remote senior living facility, Dextro Solutions LLP deployed a KNX-based automation system to enhance comfort, safety, and wellbeing. The highlight was Human Centric Lighting (HCL), programmed to replicate natural daylight cycles, supporting residents’ circadian rhythms and improving sleep, mood, and overall health. DALI 2 DT8 Drivers are used extensively to reach our objectives and these are synced with the Position of the Sun for that Lat Long GPS points.
Morning light energizes and evening transitions encourage rest. In addition, KNX automation was extended to water heaters for bathing, ensuring hot water availability on demand while optimizing energy use. For winter comfort, infrared heating in balconies was integrated, allowing residents to enjoy outdoor spaces safely and warmly. These solutions reduce stress, improve quality of life, and demonstrate how KNX can deliver reliability and dignity in senior living, even in remote locations with limited technical support.
