Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
This building is used as HQ of an International organization.
Nearly 80 offices equipped with 600 DALI dimmable lighting fittings. About 80 motorized curtains, and same number of fancoil units.
Presence detectors with 4 internal sensors are used to save energy, using Constant light control function for dimming, switching of fancoil units when no persons inside.
In addition magnetic contacts on the balcony doors are used in order to switch of the heating/cooling when the door is open.

For all actuators Zennio is used,
Thermostats and push buttons are from Eelectron.
IP routers, webserver and remote safe access are from GIRA.
Presence detectors from Theben.
The project is expected to be integrated into BMS soon.
