Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
DALI lamps above the auditorium and the rink could be integrated with the help of the KNX system. This was important in order to achieve energy efficient operation.
The audience visiting the hall consists mostly of children in the morning hours and adults take over the ice in the evening. A KNX/Dali gateway provided us the freedom to be able to make lighting scenes. The dressing room and recreational facility rooms are only used for certain amounts of time during the day, so a hanging fitting of heating-cooling and ventilation was required. The best choice was Amun 716 S KNX, a combined humidity, temperature and CO2 sensor. The sensors send signals via the KNX to the central heating controllers and order the waste heat of ice production to be used or the heat pumps to turn on. The operating personnel gets information on actual and historic data on the eibPort dashboard. They get notified of any malfunction via email and they can intervene remotely.
