Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description

KNX Training House Poland is a living KNX education facility combining a professional laboratory with a real 300 m² smart villa. The lab includes 8 advanced workstations, each with around 60 KNX devices and a dedicated focus area: DALI, video, HVAC, e-mobility & PV, voice communication, visualization, alarm/enOcean and microcontrollers. It also includes 5 specialized KNX stations and 8 mini training sets for introductory classes. The building is a complete KNX installation with heating, biometric access control, alarm, seven visualization servers, PV with battery storage, EV charging, energy and water metering, lighting, DALI and SMI shading. AI algorithms based on neural networks are used for analysis and optimization of building data. Trainees program the real system during certified KNX courses, including remote access, experiments, measurements and demonstrations for installers, designers, architects and students.
