Energy Efficiency

Customers Description
The Gomez Pardo Shopping Megacentre, located in Yerba Buena, Tucumán Province, is one of the largest shopping centres in northern Argentina. The complex covers 18,000 m² and includes a supermarket with sales area and warehouse, a gallery with more than 30 retail stores, and a 12,000 m² parking area.
The KNX system integrates lighting, HVAC and metering through 250 KNX devices. Lighting is controlled via DALI and automatically regulated according to external brightness. An RGB façade lighting system performs scheduled colour changes.
Energy efficiency is enhanced through CO₂-controlled ventilation, natural ventilation and night free-cooling managed by roof and side-wall blinds. A 1,400 m² solar panel system with a capacity of 228 kW contributes to daytime energy savings.
HVAC is integrated with the Daikin system through a BACnet gateway, while all building information is monitored and supervised through a KNX SCADA system.
