Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
During apartment makeover we were asked to redesign whole KNX installation. The main goal was to allow new owners to fully control switchable and dimmable lighting as well as automate HVAC with occupancy detection in order to lower electricity bills.
We mostly used existing KNX devices, but we added GIRA X1 for visualization on the videophone screen in the apartment and on customer's mobile devices.
To provide safe remote access for a customer and remote programming capability for us the GIRA S1 was also added.
