Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Customers Description
We were engaged to modernize and enhance the smart home capabilities of a 15-year-old property that had been purchased with the intention to renovate to an extremely high standard. The project involved updating an existing KNX infrastructure while integrating multiple new systems to create a comprehensive, future-ready smart home solution. However, 15 years of modifications to the electrical installation had created significant challenges:
The KNX & electrical panels had become difficult to maintain due to accumulated changes over time
The existing system lacked a modern user interface.
The client required integration of multiple new systems including lighting, heating, shading, motorized windows & AV.
The system needed to accommodate the desire for ongoing customization and automation development
We leveraged the open protocol nature of KNX to create a hybrid solution, integrating a Control4 server and visual interface to provide modern control capabilities
