Energy Efficiency
The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description
Edificio diseñado por Foster & Partners y reformado en 2018. Consta de 34 plantas de oficinas en orientación Norte-Sur ((68 semiplantas donde KNX controla 34 persianas y unos 180 drivers DALI y emergencias DALI en cada una). La toplogía original del edificio estaba compuesta por 4 áreas TP y 34 líneas TP, generandose un exceso de trafico de telegramas que impedia el funcionamiento correcto del los equipos KNX. La reforma consistió en tres aspectos:
1) Modificar la topología pasando a 68 líneas KNX TP con 68 IP-Routers.
2) Reprogramar todos los dispositivos KNX orginales (no fue necesario sustituirlos).
3) Integrar todas las señales en una Plataforma BMS con software de gestión de persianas automatico y diseñar una visualización global del edificio y particular para cada semi-planta.
Actualmente KNX funciona con normalidad y el BMS controla todos los sistemas de iluminación y persianas, sin incidencias y con satisfaccion del cliente y de los usuarios.
