Customers Description
UBS is a global company that was looking to utilise a floor of one of top buildings in Auckland CBD waterfront for their new office. Following their high standard and demand for reliable, backward compatible, energy efficient & easily interfaced system, they selected a system based on KNX.
The system performs energy efficiency by constant lighting control, daylight harvesting, time scheduled operation, presence & absence detection...At the same time the system automatically and semi-automatically control blinds to reduce heat through glazed area (the office is on sunny side of the building). Also, presence detection is interfaced with BMS for comfort/standby operation of air conditioning.
Colour changes of indicator luminaires outside of board & meeting rooms determine occupancy and usage of the rooms.
Interface with Crestron allows operation & overriding of connected equipment in Boardroom & meeting rooms and enable Boardroom tp be divided in 2 independently controllable areas
