Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customers Description

ISCTE – Knowledge and Inovation is Lisbon University Institute’s the new R&D center that will house over a thousand researchers and hundreds of projects focusing on the knowledge transfer between social sciences and digital technologies. The BMS project includes access control for the class rooms and research rooms; lighting control using DALI combined with motion detection and constant light control; fire detection panel integrated on the BMS allowing to view in real time the status of every detector on the floorplans; alert management for electric, equipment and inundation faults; HVAC control including automatic management of air quality with AHU's and climate control with fancoils; Water and energy consumption monitoring with Eletric Vehicules Charging management.
