Customers Description
This project delivers an integrated automation system for an air dome sports facility, centralizing control of critical systems through one intuitive interface. KNX and Modbus work together to automate and monitor lighting, heating, energy consumption, and building safety. Lighting is divided into four scheduled zones, each regulated by a KNX brightness sensor, allowing clients to illuminate only occupied areas and reduce energy costs. A KNX weather station and electricity meter provide live environmental and consumption data. A unique snow protection system automatically activates when sustained snowfall is detected, releasing air from the double membrane and triggering heating to prevent structural collapse. Pressure, safety units, and a backup generator are continuously monitored with instant alerts delivered via on-screen notifications and email. The result is a smart, customizable air dome automation solution that maximizes energy efficiency and ensures occupant safety year-round.
