Customers Description
The owner of this apartment wanted a TOTAL integration in terms of energy management especially regarding the HVAC systems. So we had to control the underfloor heating using a gas boiler, as a production system and then drive the electrothermic heads on the heating manifold in a sophisticated way using the so called PI-PWM, in order to avoid energy waste and comfort disruption. The VRV system was also integrated into the KNX system using the appropriate gateways and also giving the users total control of literally all the functions of the A/C units. Finally the apartment was equipped with LUNOS which is an interior air quality system. That was integrated into KNX using the Arcus-Eds gateway giving the users the ability to control and monitor the functionality of the units. This system offers heat recovery via the integrated ceramic heat exchanger with a result of 91% and at the same time the noise level of the fans is maintained at the lowest level based on the international SONE chart
